The amount of Ranmanium Ranmaru X has surely makes them the highest EX-ranked quality Ranmaru, surpassing even the Ranmaru who possessed a style that surpassed the most magnificent Ranmaru among all Ranmarus in history.

Ranmaru possesses a strange special characteristic that makes them indiscriminately beloved by those who possess specific qualities (mainly by those of the ruling class). Whether or not this is due to Ranmanium – a mysterious magical element their body has – is a point discussed by the scientific society even to this day where their opinions are still divided.

Ranmaru X (Orchid Rounds X)

The very cute Ranmaru-chan throws their Fudou Yukimitsu (Immovable Yukimitsu), which separates limitlessly, towards their opponents before following up with a slash with all their strength. There is no way to escape from the gaze of their completely unleashed right eye, and all who confronts Ranmaru will be captivated by the extreme cuteness and splendidness of those attack movements of theirs, before they would be chopped up during their unguarded moment of saying “YOWZERS, RANMARU IS SO CUTE!”, making this a Noble Phantasm that unexpectedly overloads people mentally and catches them off guard as a result.

The Fudou Yukimitsu Saber is a sword for self-defense that came flying in from out of nowhere at the time Ranmaru was born.
The Ranmaru Blade is a legendary oodachi that Ranmaru won in the Great Ranmaru War that determined the strongest Ranmaru. It is a very advanced first-rate sword that has the ability to carry out interstellar flight. However, it just so happens that its original engraved signature has been lost, so it is now called the Ranmaru Blade as a result.

Apparently, Mysterious Ranmaru X turned up to Earth to take a lost article back of which none of the Mori Ranmarus on their home planet even remember about. Ranmaru X themselves do not even understand what they had forgotten about.

Oda Nobunaga

Mori Ranmaru’s lord during their lifetimes. But because Nobunaga is not their lord as far as Ranmaru X is concerned, the Ranmarus on Planet Ranmaru are still searching for their own lords who they ought to serve.

Mori Nagayoshi

Mori Ranmaru’s older brother during their lifetimes. Since Nagayoshi is unrelated to Ranmaru X, it would be strange for them to call him their older brother, but because they are both strange, this does not feel particularly unusual for either of them. By the way, Planet Nagayoshi, the sibling planet of Planet Ranmaru, is also an extremely dangerous place in the galaxy with a prominent 5-star travel risk rating.

Akechi Mitsuhide

‘Ranmaru will seriously not forgive them; the Micchi Akechi clan will be absolutely eradicated.’ That seems to be the feeling etched in every Ranmaru from Planet Ranmaru on the genetic level.

I repeatedly went through a lot of trial and error on my part in designing Mysterious Ranmaru X. I even created too many facial expressions for them, to the extent that I do not remember how many I made overall. Is this cool? Is this expressive? Does this make them resemble someone? Does this make them look like they are joking around? Is this serious?… I wanted to draw Mysterious Ranmaru X whose facial expressions were changing frequently. (Mika Pikazo)
